Two unique history discoveries about Bulgaria
revealed!
25.04.2009
The lecturer of old history in the History Department of Sofia
University 'St. Kliment Ohridski' reader doctor Konstantin
Boshnakov found out two unique signs, in the
Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak, that says "painted by Kodzimases"
and the second one "Roigos, son of Sevt III. Until this
discovery, the thracian Roigos, was know only by the coins of
this ruler. After his reveals, Bushnakov may now state that
Roigos was not only a considerable Thracian king from the tome
of the zenith of the Odrin's Kingdom in IV-III century B. CH,
but also son of the founder of the capital Sevtopolis - Sevt
III. These reveals are with no doubt of world meaning.
The Thracian Tomb of Kazanluk presented interest to many
historians round the world, but has remained unknown due to two
facts - first because no one knew who was the ruler buried in
the tomb and the second - who was the painter. With these
answers, a new page is opened for Ancient Thrace about the
cultural and political history.
There is a slight downturn in the number of
Englishmen in the Bulgarian ski resort of Pamporovo compared to
previous years.
09.04.2009
This shows a 4-month research of the
attitudes of the tourists in the region. The study has started
in December 2008 at the initiative of “Royal Lodge” complex, the
hoteliers in
Pamporovo, supported by the Smolyan and Devin
municipalities. The research aims at finding out the tourist
preferences, remarks and attitudes.
Every third Englishman is not satisfied with the
infrastructure of the resort. The best remarks are for the
service and the personal attitude of the personnel. 92%
assess the service as maids and the ski-teachers as "very good".
89% of the interviewed people are content with
the booking systems. 53% of the tourists
choose destination and hotel via the Internet.
From the foreign tourists the Englishmen, Russians and
Macedonians still prevail. This year the interest of the Greeks,
Serbians and Romanians was renewed.
